 After earning his BS in Biology at the
Ateneo de Manila University in the
Philippines, Dr. Valencia finished
Medicine at the University of the East -
Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center
in 1992, followed by a rotating
internship at the University of the
Philippines - Philippine General
Hospital. He then completed his
Internal Medicine Residency at the
Albert Einstein Medical Center in
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1997.
He worked as an Emergency Room physician
and Staff Physician in Nevada, before
deciding to plant roots in Fremont, CA.
Since 2003, he has practiced both
Primary Care and Hospital Medicine in
Fremont, with his hospital practice
based in Washington Hospital.
Dr. Valencia is Board Certified in
Internal Medicine and is a member of the
American College of Physicians.
He is fluent in both English and
Filipino (Tagalog).
