Dr. Trinh is a
board certified family physician who has
been a valued member of the Washington
Hospital medical staff since 2003. He
is a Bay Area native and has been
practicing family medicine for over
seven years. He grew up in San Jose and
completed his undergraduate work at the
University of California, Davis, earned
his medical degree from Ross University
School of Medicine, and subsequently
completed his internship and residency
training at the University of Arizona.
In 2006, Dr. Trinh
was recognized as one of the East Bay’s
“40 Under 40” honorees, a selection by
the East Bay Business Times recognizing
40 talented individuals under the age of
40 who are making a positive impact on
the East Bay’s development. He has also
been interviewed in a number of articles
on various health topics in the Tri-City
Voice newspaper and has been featured on
InHealth, a Washington Hospital cable
channel airing original health
programming throughout Fremont, Newark,
and Union City. He has been actively
engaged in community outreach since
coming to the Tri-City area. Dr. Trinh
participates in the hospital’s free
program for laser tattoo removal,
helping former gang members shed the
past and embark on a more constructive
life path. He is also a member of the
Union City Lions Club, a club
organization serving the local
community.
Dr. Trinh’s medical
interests are pediatrics, preventive
medicine, health education, and chronic
disease management. He is also skilled
in Occupational Medicine where he serves
as the physician for many local
companies.
Dr. Trinh is
married and has three daughters. He
enjoys various sports, traveling, and
spending time with his family.
