Maggie Juarez is a
native of Redwood City, CA. She began
her career in nursing as a nursing
assistant, working in various pediatric
units at the University of San
Francisco. While at UCSF she became a
Research Assistant, conducting mental
health research interviews geared toward
the maternal-child relationship between
young single mothers and their infants.
She also worked as a Pediatric Clinical
Instructor with junior nursing students
during their inpatient pediatric
clinical rotation.
Maggie received her Bachelor of
Science in Nursing from the University
of San Francisco, and continued her
education at San Francisco State
University where she received her Master
of Science in Nursing in 2005.
During this time she worked as a staff
nurse at both Kaiser Permanente in Santa
Clara and Lucile Packard Children’s
Hospital in Palo Alto. She
received her Nurse Practitioner
Certificate in 2006 from San Francisco
State University, and began practicing
at the clinic in 2007.
Maggie currently
lives in Newark and enjoys cooking,
exercise and community service.
